OTAGO v. CANTERBURY. 1
The_ Caledonian Ground is in fine condition at present, and if the weather continues to hold fair the match between Otago and Canterbury on Saturday should produce some of the brightest movements seen here this season. The teams include some of the beat League players in the South Island, several of whom are considered to hold chances of being selected in the New Zealand team which is to tour Australia next season, and the backs are a speedy lot. The Linwdod juniors, the champions of their gradd -in Christchurch, will meet the Otago juniors before the big match. Particulars of the day sales of tickets are ’advertised.
In the Otago team M'Kewen will play as five-eighths and M'Cabe as halfback.
