DUNEDIN LADIES’ ASSOCIATION. 1 The fourth annual meeting of the Dunedin Ladies’ Bowling Association was held on Monday., The president (Mrs W. G. Cole) presided over an attendance of 25 members, each club belonging to the association being represented. The annual report was read and adopted. The president, in moving the- adoption of .the report and balance sheet, commented on the excellent position of the association. Mrs W. G. Cole specially welcomed the newly-affiliated St, Clair Club. The election of officers resulted as fel-lows':—-President, Mrs J. Wallace (Mornington); vice-president, Mrs G. G. Adess • (St. Hilda) ; secretary and treasurer, Mrs J. Cooke {Otago"), reelected ; committee-—Mesdames ’W. G. Cole, H, J. Duncan, R. Johnstone, C. Braithwaite, J. J. Read, J. F. Armit, S. Hutchison, H. H. Stubbs, A.-Gillies, C. Summerell, W. Burnside, and .P. Ponsford. Mr E. Falconer was reelected supervisor- a . As a visiting team of lady bowlers from Victoria is expected for the tournament next year, it was decided that the singles. contest he commenced on February 19, 1030. A very hearty'vote of thanks to Mrs Cole and the retiring delegates of the past year closed the meeting.
