(Per United Press Association.) HAMILTON, August 31. In the Supreme Court Whare Matangi was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment for the theft of a horse from the Taringaniotu -Timber Company. WELLINGTON, August 31. Despite the exceptionally wet weather the profits from the Wellington Winter Show are expected to bo not less than £6OOO. The admissions were less, but the space rents were more. A sports ground is being added at considerable costs.
