CITY POLICE COURT.
Saturday, August 81. (Before Mr J, R. Bartholomew, S.M.) DRUNKENNESS. Charged with drunkenness, Samuel Pat* rick Cruse, a statutory first offender, was fined 10b,. in default 20 hours’ imprisonment. A MOTORIST CHARGED, v A man,'whose name was ordered to be suppressed until the facts are gone into, was charged with being intoxicated whilst in charge of a motor ear, and on the application of Mr L. R. Simpson, who ap-' peared for him, he was remanded until Friday, bail being allowed in his own recognisance of £25. A SERIOUS CHARGE. A remand until Wednesday was granted in the case of Thomas Edward Roskilly (Mr 0. J._ Cooke), who appeared on a of indecent exposure.—Bail was allowed in the accused's own recognisance of £IOO and one surety of £IOO or two of £SO. ALLEGED BREAKING AND ENTERING. Arthur Wong, who was charged with breaking and, entering the shop of Wong Bros., and stealing £27 11s, was remanded to appear at Invercargill on Tuesday.
