POLICEMEN OF THE AIR
- USE OP SMOKE SHELLS. FRENCH MINISTRY’S DECISION. LONDON, August 8. The French Air Ministry has issued a bulletin warning airmen that aerial police arc empowered to deal with infractions of the rules for the proper conduct of hying, states the Paris correspondent of The Times. They have "been ordered to pursue offenders, and call on them to land. Their summons, which is equivalent to a shot across the bows, will take the form of harmless projectiles that buAt and give off a thick black smoke.
