The Graf Zeppelin is apparently not the smooth flight across the Atlantic that was anticipated. According to a wireless picked up at 8 a.m., her position was 43deg N., 40dcg W. An hour later the report for 40deg 20min N. and 40deg 40min W.—Australian Tress /Association—United Service. GIBRALTAR PASSED. LONDON, August 9. The Zeppelin passed over Gibraltar at 3 o clock. LONDON, August (Received August 11, at 5.5 p.m.) A message from Friedriohshaven states that the Graf Zeppelin arrived on Captain Eckener’s birthday in the record time of 55} hours. It landed at 1 o’clock in the afternoon.—Australian Press Association.
