STOP IN TUNNEL.
LYTTELTON ELECTRIC TRAIN. STEAM LOCOMOTIVES KEQUISI- . TIONED, (Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, August 10. A mechanical defect in, the electric locomotive which drew an early goods train to Lyttelton this morning caused a holdup at an awkward moment. The train stopped' in 'the middle of the tunnel, and it was not till two; steam- locomotives arrived from Lyttelton and towed the train through that-the trouble was overcome.
