DUNEDIN PHILATELIC CLUB.
The monthly meeting of the Dunedin Philatelic Club/ was held in tlu> Y.M.C.A. building on Thursday night. The president (Air J, M‘Ara) was in the chair, and, despite the inclement weather, there was a large attendance of members. A sub-committee submitted a report on the conduct of meetfor the remainder of the year with a view to making the meetings more interesting and instructive to all interested in stamp collecting. The report was adopted, and the committee was thanked for bringing forward such a comprehensive course of study, as no doubt a very fine series of meetings would follow. A lectuvette, “ Classical Legend in Philately,” was then delivered by Mr D. Trendall, and at the conclusion of his address a hearty vote ofthanks was accorded to him. On view was an exhibition of a fine Edwardian type collection of stamps by Dr M. N. Watt, and also a collection of New Zealand pictorials by Mr J. Pemberton.
