ST. KILDA BEACH BAZAAR.
The bazaar promoted by the St. Kilda Beach Improvement Society was brought to a close on Saturday night. The (oionatioii Hall was filled to capacity, and such good business was done by the various stallholders and the side shows that most of the stalls were depicted long before closing time. The bazaar extended over four days, and the piomoteis have every reason to be gratified with the result of their efforts, as a fairly considerable sum lias been raised. This money will be utilised to provide a playground for the children on the beach. An additional attraction was a children’s fancy dress parade, held on Saturday afternoon. The St. Kilda Municipal Band provided a nuisical programme in the evening.
