WINTER COACHING. All the enthusiasm that the promoters hoped'for was shown during the opening week of the winter 1 coaching school in Brydonc Hall. 'Altogether *SO young players put in an appearance, hut 1 in view of the desire of the coaches to give as much individual tuition as possible the number proved too large, and a selection whs made so that eight players could be coached on each of the three nights on which the school is open. It is, of. course, realised that those who selected will be- disappointed, but the present arrangements are subject to revision, and it may be possible later to hold practices on additional nights. The players who have been chosen for coaching are as follow; Monday: Torrance,' Allan, Chettlaburgh, Leader, Hawkesworth, Douglass, Templeton, and Baxter. Wednesday: ■ Cavanagh, Sinclair, Cherry, Jbbotson, Moloney, Ewart. Miller, and Wayne. , Thursday:, Cranefield, Charman, Harns, Lem in, Henderson, Elfnes, Bunn, and Christie. ? ’
