THE SOUTHERN CROSS.
EN ROUTE TO AUCKLAND. (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, May 4. The mission steamer Southern Cross, which was disabled at Norfolk Island with a broken rudder trunk, sailed at sunset last evening for Auckland, and is due here on Tuesday, according to advice received in Auckland. A jury rudder has been rigged and the trip back to. New Zealand Avill be made at the leisurely speed of seven knots. On her arrival at Auckland the Mission steamer will go into dock to have repairs effected.
