LECKIE BEATS WILSON AGAIN, (United Preu Association.) (By Electric Telegraph— Copyright) MELBOURNE, May 5. (Received May 5, at 7 p.m.) The New Zealander Johnny Leckie outr pointed Claude Wilson. It was a good, hard pegging fight all the time, with Leckie never letting up for a minute, Leckie, however, stopped a heavy punch in the eighth, which nearly ended the contest. DESCRIPTION BY WIRELESS. , NINE ROUNDS TO LECKIE. The announcer took up a description of the fight, in the fourth round, but before doing' so’ gave a resume of the previous rounds. The pace was very fast from the start, Leckie (8.121) scoring with heavy punches and Wilson (9.0) trying to wear the Dunedin boy down. Leckie was doing all the leading and connected with some of the prettiest straight lefts seen in Melbourne for many a day. Wilson scored in in-fight-ing, and in a breakaway connected with a left hook. Leckie took the fight to Wilson, but the latter livened up and caught Leckie with a left to the jaw.
