INTENSE HEAT AND DUST. KARACHI, May .4. (Received May 6, at 7 p.m.) Flying-Officer Moir and Artificer Owen have arrived at Karachi from Bunder Abbas (Persia) landing at 2 p.m. after a non-stop eight hours' flight of 800 miles. They passed through intense heat and dust. They are he ting the engine thoroughly cleaned and they expect to leave on Monday morning to cross India. ■ —Australian Press Association.
