(Received May 3, at 11 p.m.) The Disarmament Commission spent hours inconclusively discussing limitations of war material, whether in stock or on service. . Mi* Gibson said he recognised the. close connection ’ between stocked material arid a trained reserve. Viscount Sato pointed out that limitation could be effected through Budget Estimates. / Other delegates favoured direct limitation, . When someone said “ This is impossible,” Count Bernstorff retorted,’ “ It has been applied in the case of Germany.” The discussion was adjourned.—Australian Press Association.
