.. AN UNWELCOME CALLER. THREATENING LETTERS CARRIED. - (United Pres* Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) WASHINGTON, May 2. (Received. May 3, at 8 p.m.) Secret service officials to-day seized a man who was attempting to force his way into President Hoover’s office. He carried threatening letters on his person, similar to those recently received by the President. This is the second attempt to reach President Hoover since he entered White House a few weeks ago. A neatly dressed man, who was not challenged by the police guard at the mansion, entered the dining room, where. President Hoover was ’.lone.
