Ou Saturday last a very enjoyable evening was spent in the Kokongn School, when the residents and their friends assembled to decide on the purchase of a “ Btgg ” piano. The evening was spent in dancing, the music being supplied by Messrs Poole and Le Gal, representatives of Messrs C. Begg and Co., Dunedin, and by local musicians. During the evening Mr Le Gal also rendered items which were highly appreciated.
