RIVAL FACTIONS. , . LITTLE SUPPORT FOR AGITATOR. (Peb United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, May For a week or more past a young man named Higgins has been cnd&ayouring to bold meetings of the unemployed in the city. He has been refused a room at the Trades Hall, and on one- occasion, when- the Trades Hajl Was invaded by himself and his assqciatcs, the police wore' called, and he - was ordered off the premises. , This morning a meeting of unemployed was called by the Unemployment Committee of the Trades and Labour Conncii, and the unemployed were asked whether they were going to follow Hihgins or whether -they werc content with the Unemployment Committee. After addresses had been given'by , both sides, a motion was carried expressing confidence in the committee. / Higgins and his associates hold that the Unemployment Committee has done nothing, and advocate forming one big unemployment union to become affiliated with the Trades apd Labour Council and have its own unemployed representatives;
