With a full cargo iit lumber, ease oil and general merchandise from Pacific Coast ports the Oceanic and Oriental Navigation Company’s steamer Golden Cross arrived at Auckland last Saturday evening from [.Los Angeles. Her other discharging ports are Wellington, Nelson and Lyttelton. The cargo - was loaded at Eureka, Seattle. Tacoma, Van( ouver, Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles. She sailed from Los Angeles, on Aprill and experienced fine weather during the voi age. This is the vessel’s first visit to Auckland as the Golden Cross. On her previous visit to New Zealand her name was the West Henshatj . She has been fitted with refrigerating accommodation, and will inaugurate the company ’a new service between New Zealand and Amcj lea.
