THE TUG SOUTHLAND.
ALLEGED UNRELIABLE ENGINES. (Peb United Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, Mav 1. It is reported from the Bluff that the Bluff Harbour Board’s tug Southland, which cost approximately £43,000, has been tied up indefinitely. It is stated that the • trouble annears to be in the engines, which have proved unreliable, ' causing delay or dislocation in the Stewart Island service. Last year the Stewart Island service 'cost the board £4OOO. The Southland has been replaced by the old tug Theresa Ward. ' ; "
