In the House of Commons Sir Philip Cunliffe-Listcr (President of the Board of Trade), in answer to a question, said that since the introduction of the safeguarding duties 22 silk and artificial silk, 11 motor cars, and five motor tyre factories had been built in Britain,apart from extensions to existing fac-tories,-—Australian Press Association— United Service.
