RATIFICATION OF PROTOCOL. RESERVATION FOR BRITAIN. ■ (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright, i GENEVA, April 30. Lord Cushendun, in announcing the ratification of the chemical warfare protocol, added ■ a reservation that it Was not binding on Britain in the case of enemy States or allies which do not accept the protocol. A similar reservation was. declared on behalf of Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and the Irish Free State. Eighteen countries have now ratified the protocol.—Australian Press Association—United Service.
