lon Stanescu, a hotel proprietor in Bucharest, Rumania, has built and opened a dormitory for poor students of ability and character, in which 85 young men. mostly the sons of villagers, will be given their living free, M. Stanescu. because'of lack of funds, was forced to leave school at an early age and to become an artisan, bo he has always 'felt a great sympathy tor poor youth seeking ah education.
