THE WAIKOUAITI COUNTY ELECTIONS.
- _ TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—lt is common knowledge that a change in the personnel of the Waikouaiti County Council is much to be desired, as the roads throughout. this county are, a disgrace to the district,—in fact, are about the worst in the Dominion. -Now that a fresh. election is to take place it is hoped that city men who' have property in the district will take a live interest in the election. and do their best to place on the. County Council men of business experience who can grasp the need-for , a more progressive - policy. I consider that the electors of Warrington -and Karitahe would do well to support the candidature of Mr \\V Taihe, a well-known business man, who is standing in the interest of more progress and better roads—l am, etc., Warrington. 1 . April 26.
