Terrified, a boy rushed into the Tnnisfail police station (Victoria) early one morning recently, and excitedly urged the patrolman to arrest a man who had attacked lain while on night duty at the telephone exchange, but whom, after a savage fight, he said he had eventually succeeded in overpowering. ■ When the police arrived at the . exchange they discovered no trace of the reported intruder, or of the struggle in which, the boy said he had taken part.
