CAVERSHAM SCHOOL SPORTS.
The pupils of the Caversham School, with their parents and friends, had an enjoyable outing on Saturday afternoon, when a school sports meeting was held on the new school grounds. A lengthy programme' of races was put through under the direction of Mr G. T. Paulin (headmaster), assisted by the sports master and members of the committee. The scholars assembled at the school steps at the conclusion of the' programme, when the prizes were presented by the chairman of the committee (Mr T.. A. Brown). The proceeds from the meeting are to be devoted to the improving or the school grounds; Following are the results:— Hop, Step, and Jump (under IS).— Dumb 1, Walker 2.- t Hop, Step, and Jump (under IS).— Keach 1, Trainor 2.
