The dredge Slurlhlku, accompanied by the. motor tug Southland, left Port Chalmers on Saturday afternoon for Bluff. The dredge had undergone overhaul,., under the waterline, at Port Chalmers. Tho Gale, which arrived here yesterday from Lyttelton, will load general cargo to-day and sail to-night for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Wanganui. The Kahlka, which arrived here yesterday morning from Wellington, will load general cargo to-day and sail to-night for Napier and Gisborne, via ports. The Kurow, which was delayed at Dunedin on Friday night owing to fog, sailed on Saturday morning for Oamaru, Timaru and Lyttelton to complete loading, for Wellington and Auckland. The ‘Holmdale, which was detained at Dunodm on Friday night owing to fog, sailed early on Saturday morning for way ports and Wanganui. The Corlnna has been fixed to load at Dunedin on May 6 for Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth. Tho Storm Is due at Dunedin on Wednesday from Lyttelton to load general cargo for Timaru, Lj-ttelton, Wellington and Wanganui. The Survey Is to sail from New York tomorrow for New,. The vessel, which is under charter to tho Commonwealth and Dominion Line, Is due at Lyttelton about Juno 3, and at Dunedin about Juno 7. PORT HUNTER TO LOAD. The Commonwealth and "Dominion Line steamer Port Hunter was due at Bluff on Saturday afternoon from Port Kembla to commence Homeward loading. The vessel will complete loading at Lyttelton, Wellington and Port Chalmers. She is due here on May 9, and will sail finally from Port Chalmers about May 11 for London, via Montevideo. PORT AUCKLAND LEAVES NEW YORK. Cable advice received states that the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Auckland left New York on April 18 with American cargo for discharge at Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. Tho vessel Is due at Auckland about May 23, and at Dunedin ahout June 7. THE CANADIAN BRITISHER. The Canadian Britisher Is due at Auckland about May 5 from Halifax, via Panama. She is bringing Canadian cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin. The vessel Is expected at this port about May 19. CORNWALL LEAVES CURACAO. A cable message to the Federal Company states that the Cornwall left Curacao on the afternoon of April 20 for London and West Coast ports of Great Britain, en route from Napier. She sailed from Napier on March 23. THE CITY OF ADELAIDE. From New York, via Levuka, the EllermanBucknall Line steamer City of Adelaide arrived at Auckland on Saturday. The vessel is under charter to the A. and A. Line, and is carrying general merchandise for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. The New Zealand Shipping Company has been notified by cable that the Hororata arrived at Newport News on April 18 from Auckland, and sailed on April 19 for London. The vessel left Auckland on March 21. ANGLO CHILEAN AT DUNKIRK. The steamer Anglo Chilean, which was despatched from Port Chalmers on February 19 for Dunkirk, London and Hull, Is reported to have reached Dunkirk on April 18. MAKURA TO BELIEVE 3IARASIA. The Makura will relieve tho Mjframa In the intercolonial service, commencing from Sydney for Wellington on August 23. The Marama will be recommissioned early In October. TAMAROA FROM ENGLAND.
