MEN’S HOCKEY.
OTAGO ASSOCIATION. The committee meeting of the Otago Hockey Association was held in the X.M.C.A. rooms on Tuesday evening, Mr Payton presiding. The following entries were received for First Grade matches:—City, Albany. University (2), High School Old Boy S | Training College, Technical College ' t»!d Boys. Second Grade: University (2), High School Old Boys (2), Technical College Old Boys, Training College, Albany. The Third Grade entries were held over till the next meeting. Mr Harris furnished a report on the Oatnaru trip, and was quite sanguine as to the future of men's-hockey in that district. The association passed a resolution thanking the Albany Technical College Old Boys’ Club for its assistance-' rendered in the game at Oamaru. Mr Holden and the secretary were appointed to see that the matches are played at the proper hour.
