WORKMEN FIND COFFINS. PRESENCE A MYSTERY. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) SYDNEY, April 11. Workmen engaged in the Sydney underground railway excavations for the Town Hall station have found nine cedar, coffins during the past week. One was filled with bricks, the second contained the remains of a dress suit, and others fine dust. Their presence is a mystery. Many thousands of people have passed over the spot in the last half-century.
