TO THE EDITOR. It is rather distressing that Mr M Quade has seen fit to throw ia the sponge. A little further explanation of hi' statement concerning centres where private ward acommodation is available in public hospitals would be enlightening. One is reminded of an old Arab proverb: "‘He that knows not, and knows not that he knows not, is a fool; shun hinj. He that knows not, and knows that he knows not, is an honest mr.
