GENERAL NEWS.
The meeting of the Rescue Lodge International Order of Good Templars was held on Tuesday in the Oddfellows’ Hall, King Edward street. There was a large attendance of members and visitors. Bro. E. H. Sincock, chief templar, presided, and one candidate was initiated. The quarterly reports were most encouraging, and showed the lodge to be in a flourishing condition, both numerically and financially. The officers for the new term were installed by Lodge Deputy Bro. E. J. lies, assisted by Bros. T. Dalton and W. J. lies as installing marshals. The Star of the South Juvenile Temple also met the same evening, when there was a good attendance. The officers for the new term were installed by Bro. J. Hilton, S.J.W.
