It is understood that both sides will, be represented by counsel ,and that witnesses will bo heard on behalf .of the general, three of whom are medical men, the others being G. A. . Pollard, who was Chancellor of the Exchequer of the Salvation Army 25 years ago, and has been; actively associated in: the general's defence, and Maurice Whitlow, who interviewed . the general in his bedroom a week ago. Questions are .being asked concerning the cost of assembling the High Council from all over the world. It: is certain that the initiators ,of the idea never anticipated such a prolonged meeting. ' A number of the delegates . have booked provisionally ■ with the Leviathan,, which is sailing on Friday. Each member yesterday received a letter from Mrs Bramwell. Booth, asking, out of regard for the memories of the past and the. needs of ( the present, not to adjudicate the general unfit. —-Australian Press Association. A PROBABLE MEDIATOR.
