The secret of the haggis was revealed at a recent British Cookery and Food Exhibition. The following, it was said, are the ingredients:. One,medium-sized sheen’s paunch; 1. sheep’s pluck, including liver, lights, and heart; 11b oatmeal, Jib barley, 6oz onions, -Jib beef snet, 4oz currants, 1 small nutmeg (grated)—and “a liberal quantity of pepper and salt for the creating of a thirst.”
