A meeting was held in Milton last week for the purpose of considering the question of resuscitating the Tokomairiro Harrier and Amateur Athletic Chili. There were about 50 people present, and according to advice received by the Otago Athletic Association great enthusiasm was shown. It was unanimously decided to resuscitate the club, and the following office-bearers were elected:—President, Mr Edward Moore; vice-presidents— Mesrs R. M. Rutherford, P. Stewart, G. G. Menzies, J. StecJiman, and P. Kerr; hon. secretary, Mr A, S. M'Crostie; hon. treasurer, Mr A. M'Leod; hon. auditor, Mr G. W. Lane; committee—Messrs A. M. Miller, H. Stewart, R, Olver, H. Curran and H. M’Leod. It is proposed to hold a cycle road race to-morrow, and it is confidently expected that an afternoon sports meeting will be held about March !). The question of harriers will be decided later. An application has already been made for affiliation to the Otago Centre.
