ARTILLERY BAND CARNIVAL.
, The Artillery Band's carnival was continued at the Battery grounds ,last evening, and was attended by a large crowd. Good business was done on the stalls and amusement and the night, was generally a successful one. The bathing beauty contest, which is to be continued throughout the week, attracted a satinfnctory number of entries- and it promises to be one of the best features of the carnival.
