TYPHOID FEVER AT CLONCURRY, (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) BRISBANE, December 4. There arc now over 70 patients in the Cloncurry Hospital suffering from typhoid fever. The New South Wales drink bill for the year ended June 30 was £13,607,000, according to the ‘Government Statistician, which is equal to £5 13s 4d per head of the population, or 9d more than the previous year. The consumption totalled 28,325,000 gallons .of ■ beer, 1,732,000 gallons of wine, and’ 1,153,000 gallons of proof spirits.
