LADY DE CHAIR.
VISIT TO DOMINION.
(Special to Daily Truss.) AUCKLAND, December 3. ' -'After spending three , months at Fiji 1 and at Honolulu, Lady de Chair, wife of, Sir. Dudley de .Chair, .Governor,of New ■South Wales, and her daughter returned’ to Auckland by the Niagara. They will' be joined in the Dominion by Sir Dudley,' who will arrive at Wellington at the end of the moutli by the Remuera from England. It. is not generally known that, Lady de Chair visited the Dominion, 20 years • ago with her mother and . father; ,in =the course of a worldjtour. She has retained pleasant memories of this country ever since, and is looking forward to renewing her ■ acquaintance with it. Lady de- Chair and Miss de Chair -will, spend a - ;'few days in Auckland, and will then' proceed - to Wellington to await the arrival .of Sir. Dudley, It will be remembered .that’ lie crossed the Pacific, bn the last voyage north- of the Niagara, and proceeded to England,,to attend,,’to private business. Lady de Chair stated that, her husband' would remain a few weeksin New Zealand with them. Until he arrived ‘their plans were ’uncertain, but. they would probably do some fishing, returning to Sydney about the end of January.;.
