The death roll reached 122 on Saturday night, and 60 others are reported unofficially. Two hundred and fifty have been injured. The towns of Talca and Chilian are the greatest sufferers. Talca is in ruins, with 40 people dead and 200 injured. ' At Chilian there are 17 dead and 30 in-' jtired. . Forty people were killed and 100 injured at the Barohona camp at the, i’eniente mine belonging to the Braden Copper Company, when a shock broke the reservoir, letting a torrent loose down the valley.
