AMATEUR ATHLETICS.

POSSIBLE VISIT BY DR PELTZER. (Per United Press Association.) ' WELLINGTON, December 3. There is a possibility that Dr Peltzer, the German sprinter, may visit New Zealand, as the Victorian .Association has written asking if New Zealand was prepared to contribute half the cost of transport from Germany to Australia, plus the fares to and-from New Zealand and maintenance while in the Dominion. If. those conditions arc accepted Dr Peltzor will probably be in the Dominion about the end of January or the beginning of February, 1929. A special meeting of delegates is to be called to consider the matter, which is considered most important in Lolli countries.
