“PUBLIC SERVICE GRIEVANCES.”
TO THE EDITOR Slß.—As one who was present at the Post and Telegraph Employees' Association reunion on Saturday, 15th inst., I must take exceptiou to your footnote to the letter over the signature of Mr J. H. M'Kenzie on Friday last. I can quite believe what you say respecting your reporter, but I state that he neither fully nor accurately reported the general secretary (Mr M'Kenzie). who spoke for over 40 minutes, and fully and lucidly covered all the subject matter of his subsequent letter. Nothing in that letter is in amplification of what was said at the function. —I am, etc., A. R. Harbis. [The writer of the above letter is, of course, entitled to the opinion which he expresses. —Ed. O.D.T.]
