FIRES.
BUNGALOW BADLY DAMIAGED. {Pee United Press Association.) NAPIER, June 11. A fire, the origin of which is a mystery, completely gutted the front portion of a five-roomed modern bungalow in Lincoln road, Napier, owned and occupied by W. Mawson. and did much damage to the rear portion, shortly after 8 o’clock to-night. The two front bedrooms were badly gutted, and the sitting room and kitchen at the rear were more or less damaged by smoke and water. The insurance on the furniture is £250 in the Royal office, and the house is covered in the* same office, but the amount is not ascertainable.
