TO INDIA AND BACK. CAPTAIN BARNARD’S FLIGHT. (British Official Wireless.) (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) RUGBY, June 10. Captain Barnard, accompanied by Mr Alliott and the Duchess of Bedford, left the Lympne Acrodrame at 4.30 this morning on their flight to India and back. Captain Barnard hopes to accomplish the journey to Karachi and back in eight days. The outward flight is being made in four stages, with halts at Sofia, Aleppo, and Bushire. ARRIVAL AT SOFIA. LONDON, June 11. (Received June 12, at 0.15 a.m.) The Princess Xenia, which is making an eight days flight to India and back, arrived at Sofia at 7 o’clock on Sunday evening, covering 1140 miles in 14 hours. —Australian Press Association —United Service.
