WAKARI FLOWER SHOW.

A PLEASING DISPLAY. The annual flower show, under the auspices of the Wakari School Committee, in aid of its funds, was hold iu the school gymnasium on Saturday. There was a good attendance both in the afternoon and evening in spite of the rain. There were good entries in all the classes and the flowers made a fine show. The quality of the exhibits was remarkably good, hut the rain of the previous day or two had its effect on the flowers, and for the same reason the entries of vegetables suffered to a small extent An entry of great interest to the residents of tho district was that of Mr Ben Rudd Mr Rudd had potatoes and rhubarb on exhibition and was successful in gaining a first prize for each.
