BOROUGH COUNCIL, NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF SPECIAL ORDER TO DECLARE CERTAIN STREETS WITHIN THE BOROUGH TO BE PUBLIC STREETS. PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Mosgiel Borough Council, at a Special Meeting of the Council convened for the purpose, and held in the Council Chambers,- Mosgiel, on Wednesday, the 29th day of February, 1928, Passed the following Resolution by way of Special Order authorising the taking over of Certain Streets within the Borough as Public Streets. RESOLVED by way of SPECIAL RESOLUTION to operate as a SPECIAL ORDER that the Council of the Borough of Mosgiel, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “ The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920,” and “ The Mosgiel Borough Empowering Act, 1926,” Do Hereby Resolve as follows; — That the following named STREETS within the said Borough be declared to be PUBLIC STREETS within the meaning of “ 'The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920,” that is to' say HIGH STREET and GREEN STREET as shown in plan No. 084 deposited in the Lands Registry Office at Dunedin in the year 1892. DUKE STREET (formerly called Howe street), ARGYLE STREET (between Mure and Inglia streets) in the Borough of Mosgiel shown on plan No. 267 deposited in the Deeds Registry Office at Dunedin in .the year 1898. And NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that the said Resolution will bb submitted to an ORDINARY MEETING of the Council to be held in the Council Chambers, Coronation Hall, Mosgiel, on MONDAY, the second day of April, 1928, for CONFIRMATION as a SPECIAL ORDER.
