PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY LVEN that the Dunedin Drainage and werage Board, at a Special Meeting or e Board convened for the purpose and Id in the Town Hall, Dunedin, on Wedsdav, the 22nd day of February, 1928, seed the following Resolution by way Special Order authorising the raising a Loan of £60,000. 1. That the said Board hereby resolves to raise a Loan of £BO,OOO (Sixty Thousand Pounds), being the second instalment of a sum of £250,000 for which the Board obtained statutory authority to borrow in terms of ‘‘ The Dunedin District Drainage and Sewerage Amendment Act, 1925,” a first instalment of £IOO,OOO having been previously raised. 2. That the term of the said Loan of £60.000 be 15 years. 3. That the security for the interest and sinking fund and the repayment of the said Special Loan be a special annually recurring rate of One Penny (Id) in the Pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of the district, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin and the Borough of St. Kilda. 4. That a sinking fund of One Pound (£1) per centum per annum, on the amount of the said loan be established in connection with the same, and that the amount of such sinking fund be paid to the Sinking Fund Commissioners to be appointed for that purpose on the Thirtieth Day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 15 years or until the loan is fully paid off, of which sinking fund the first payment shall be made on the thirtieth day of March, 1929. 5. That the said Special Loan of £60,000 be raised by the issue of Debentures in the form prescribed by the aforesaid Act, and that each such Debenture shall bear interest at the rate of five and one-half per centum per annum, payable half-yearly on the 30th day of September and the 30th day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan or until such loan is fully paid off, and that coupons bo annexed to each such Debenture accordingly, and that the said Debentures and Coupons be payable at any branch of the Bank or New Zealand within the Dominion of New Zealand free of exchange to the holder thereof. 6. That the Corporate Seal of the Board be affixed to all such Debentures, and that all such Debentures and Coupons be signed by the Chairman and countersigned by the Secretary, but so that their respective signatures to the Coupons may be lithographed on the Coupons. AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that the said Resolution will be submitted to an Ordinary Meeting of the Board, to be held at the Town Hall, Dunedin, on WEDNESDAY, tho 21st day of Starch, 1928, for Confirmation as a Special Order.
