WOMAN FATALLY INJURED.
CHARGE AGAINST MOTORIST. (Per United Press Association.) HAWJBRA, March 9. George Cravy Smith pleaded not guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial on a charge that while in a state of intoxication ho drove a motor car near Mokoia on February 24, causing the death of E. Millicent Elizabeth Richter, - fanner’s wife, aged 42. Tho police alleged that Smitn was drunk. A passenger in the car admitted that tho car had struck a woman. Tho time -was 7.15 in the evening and it was broad daylight. Mrs Richter was rendered unconscious and died in the hospital tho following night.
