GOOD TEMPLARS.
The Hope of Dunedin Lodge of the International Order of Good Templars held its weekly meeting on Wednesday night, Bro. tt. 11. 'Chapman (Chief Templar) prosiding. Three candidates were proposed and initiated into the Order. Bro. Robert son, lodge deputy, moved that “ Members who are out of work and unable to pay their fees shall receive the password and oo entitled to the privileges of financial members, until they obtain work.” The Chief Templar announced that at the next meeting Rescue Lodge officers and members would he entertained. Bro. Robertson, L.D., was granted leave of absence for a fortnight. It was also resolved that a letter of sympathy be sent to Sister Thomas, of the Rescue Lodge, who ha* suffered a severe illness.
