RESCUED FROM THE SURF.
BATHER'S DANGEROUS PLIGHT. REVIVED AFTER AN HOUR'S EFFORTS. ;Pbb United Press Assoct.-ion.) UHRISTUnURCH, January 30. In the last stages of exhaustion, ami with a severe attack of cramp, a man named H. Unwin was rescued from th" surf at New Brighton yesterday afternoon. Unwin was out of his depth when he had a seizure of cramp. His plight was noticed by the patrolman, and the life-saving team made a smart turnout. After an hour’s resuscitation ctf'i’ts Unwin became conscious, and was later taken to his heme.
