MR JUSTICE BLAIR.
SWEARING IN THE NEW JUDGE. (Pek United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, January 28. Mr A. W. Blair, who was recently appointed to the Supremo Court Bench, was sworn in as a judge before Sir Charles Skerrett (Chief Justice) in the Supreme Court to-day. Mr Justice Blair, accompanied by his family and by Mr R. E. Tripe, his associate, is to leave for the north to-morrow by motor. He will take up his judicial duties at Auckland on February 1.
