ROWING.
The selectors, Messrs M. H. Priest and W. J. Wilson, have nominated the following oarsmen for inclusion in the eight-oar crew which it is intended to send to the Olvmpic Games at Amsterdam this year;— F. Brough and C. J. M'Ara, of Otago Rowing Club, and F. F. Wilson, of Queen’s Drive. The eight will bo picked after the conclusion of the championship regatta (March 3) and the interprovincial eights (March 24). . With a view to selecting the Otago eight for this race, an interclub eight-oar contest, will take place on the Upper Harbour next Monday evening, when Otago will meet North Kind, and as soon after as possible Queen’s Drive will meet Port Chalmers. the final to bo between the winners of these heats. This race will start at the mile and a half post and finish at a line between Rattray and Birch street wharves*, in the basin. If the water is too rough, the race will take place on Tuesday evening. _______________
