AN AGREEMENT PROBABLE. SIGNIFICANT VISITS. (Pres* Association -By Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, January 26. Official circles in London attach im- ' portance to Mr Goto’s visit to Russia, ' says the Daily Telegraph’s diplomatic correspondent. It is believed that M. . Tchitcherin or M. Karakhan is shortly., going to Tokio to complete a comprehen- ' sive agreement, and it is understood that M. Litvinoff will probably seek another Geneva at the end of February or in interview with Sir Austen Chamberlain at March, when the Security Committee ; meeting follows that of the League Council.—A. and N.Z. Cable. A message received on December 7 ; stated that Mr Goto, accompanied by liis suite and secretariat, had left Tokio for Berlin, via Moscow It is generally accepted that the mission seeks closer relations between Japan, Germany, and Russia.
